Protesters opposed to war and global trade policies were arrested by police clad in riot gear. No order to disperse was given, and protesters were NOT PERMITTED to disperse. Instead of allowing protesters to peacefully disperse, the police arrested 650, many just passers-by. All lawsuits have been successful so far, class action suit pending.
